"Evolution of the Black Quarterback" is a three-part Prime Video docu-series by BGSTR that highlights the history and influence of Black quarterbacks, with a strong focus on the title sequence. The story follows retired NFL Pro Bowl quarterback Michael Vick as he travels across America to explore the history and impact of Black quarterbacks on and off the field. The BGSTR-designed original series pays homage to the rich history, celebrates the progress, and sets its sights on the future of the QB position.
 

In the concept phase, I crafted 3D models and renders of statues to explore design directions, aiding in visualizing the players’ stories. This tied into the approach of layering 3D statues with imagery to narrate their legacies.
